Pop star Demi Lovato to campaign for Clinton

Demi Lovato is adding some star power to an upcoming Hillary Clinton campaign stop in Iowa.

The 23-year-old “Confident” singer will join the Democratic presidential front-runner at an event at the University of Iowa on Jan. 21, Clinton’s campaign announced Friday.

Lovato isn’t the first celebrity to bring a touch of Hollywood to the campaign trail.

Earlier this month, “Girls” star Lena Dunham stumped for Clinton during stops in Iowa City and Des Moines.

Pop singer Katy Perry and soccer star Abby Wambach have also shown their support for the former secretary of State during her campaign events.
