Demi Lovato Shares Her Best Beauty Advice

Demi Lovato has mastered the perfect balance of rocking full glam makeup one day, and goingfresh-faced the next. She plays by her own beauty rules and in a new interview where she spoke about her makeup line with NYC New York Color, Lovatics by Demi, she said she was just happy to be able to share everything she has learned about makeup over the years with her fans.

“The best thing about creating your own makeup line is you get to create products you really want and will actually use. I know a lot about makeup, so I can tell you if the color or texture is right, but this was a new experience for me,” she said. “The lip and cheek tint is great because you can build the color, build the intensity, and it’ll last all day. And it’s very natural-looking.”

That is some solid beauty advice from the "Confident" singer and it looks like she had a ton of fun really delving into the makeup world creating her line. Of course she made sure to also take the time to express that although there is nothing wrong with experimenting with your outward appearance, it's really your inner beauty that shines through and means the most.

“I feel like beauty comes from within, and exudes out. And the love that you have for yourself and the confidence that you have is what attracts other people to you," Demi said. "The key for me is self-care. I love myself the most when I’m taking care of myself.”
