We’re not entirely sure how we feel about this one Demi. The 23-year-old singer had eyebrows raised when she took to Instagram on Jan. 7 to post a photo of the home-made “nose tampons” she made to help plug up her runny nostrils. What do you think: smart solution or just plain weird?

Clearly sick of having to keep blowing her nose while snowmobiling on Jan. 7, Demi decided to deal with the annoying situation in a very interesting way. Taking to Instagram, the “Cool For The Summer” singer shared a photo of herself rocking what appeared to be two pieces of tissue that had been rolled and shoved up her nose to help keep her from sniffling. “When you snow mobile with a cold…..Nose tampons from @DevonneByDemi coming soon,” she captioned her photo along with an emoji of a hot bowl of soup.

Ok so, we’ve definitely pulled a Demi once or twice in the past, but that doesn’t make it any less weird. Still, we’ve got to give her credit — it definitely takes a lot guts to rock an awkward look like that, especially in front of millions of your fans, and even worse, critics. Thankfully, confidence is one thing that Demi is not lacking in these days. On top of naming her latest album “Confident,” the singer, who is already well-known for her #NoMakeupMonday and #FreshFacedFridayhashtags, recently opened up to People about her views on body positivity, admitting that justbeing in her own skin is enough to make her feel empowered as of late.

“I feel the most beautiful when I’m naked,” she told the outlet. “Just completely stripped down, completely organic, me. That’s when I feel the most confident, because that’s the most natural state that I could possibly get in.”

It should come as no surprise then that taking care of her body is what makes her feel her best these days. “The key for me is self-care,” she adds. “I love myself the most when I’m taking care of myself.” You go, Demi!
